Gameplay Instructions for Blockono

Objective: Destroy all the bricks on each level to progress to the next one. Score points by breaking bricks and collect special abilities to enhance your gameplay.

PC Controls:

• Move Paddle Left: Press the left arrow key or “A”.
• Move Paddle Right: Press the right arrow key or “D”.

Mobile Controls:

• Move Paddle: Touch and drag the paddle left or right to control its movement. The paddle will follow your finger as you slide it across the screen.

Game Mechanics:

• Ball Launch: The ball will launch automatically when the game starts. Keep it in play by bouncing it off your paddle.
• Brick Breaking: Aim to bounce the ball off the bricks to break them. Each brick has a different point value.
• Special Abilities: Occasionally, special abilities will drop from broken bricks. Catch them with your paddle to activate their effects.

Special Abilities:

• Extend Paddle: Increases the width of your paddle, making it easier to hit the ball.
• Shorten Paddle: Decreases the width of your paddle, increasing the challenge.
• Speed Up Ball: Increases the ball speed, adding difficulty.
• Extra Points: Gain additional points to boost your score.

Game Over:

• The game ends when you run out of lives. Lives are lost when the ball touches the bottom of the screen.

Level Progression:

• Clear all bricks on the current level to advance to the next one. Each new level increases the ball speed, making the game progressively harder.

Tips:

• Anticipate Ball Movement: Try to predict where the ball will go and position your paddle accordingly.
• Collect Special Abilities: Use special abilities to your advantage. Some make the game easier, while others increase the challenge for higher scores.
• Stay Focused: As the ball speed increases with each level, maintain focus and quick reflexes to keep the ball in play.

Mobile-Specific Instructions:

• Play in Landscape Mode: For the best experience, rotate your mobile device to landscape mode. The game will automatically switch to fullscreen mode.
• Touch and Drag: Use touch and drag controls to move the paddle precisely. Ensure you touch directly on the paddle for accurate control.
